This procedure ,commonly referred to as a bridge is way to replace a missing tooth with a fixed prosthesis. During this procedure the teeth on both sides of the area where the tooth is missing are prepared for a crown. The two crowns have a crown attached to them to replace the missing tooth. This is  a very good method for replacing a single or multiple teeth that are close together with a fixed prosthesis.
